Kathryn Hutchins

Hi, I'm Kathryn. I've spent more than twenty years working across health, education, financial services and tech. The part of my career I'm proudest of has never been a title; it's the people I've helped find their footing along the way. I started out learning the ropes in HR and, over time, grew into roles leading whole organisations as a Chief People Officer and COO before moving into consulting and now starting up my own business advisory business focused on Small to Medium sized firms. My career hasn't been a straight line, I've gotten plenty wrong, but also gotten lots right!. I've changed direction more than once, and slowly worked out what actually mattered to me: good people, honest work, and building teams where people genuinely want to show up. That messy, real experience is what shaped how I mentor. Whether you're just starting out, second-guessing your next move, or quietly wondering if you're on the right path, I'm here to listen and think it through with you and help make sense of your direction. I also sit on the board of a national not-for-profit, which keeps me close to purpose-led work and why careers matter beyond a paycheque. If you'd like someone in your corner to discuss your direction, let's talk.
